Saturday 30^th October - Work Party Report

A good mornings work once the damp wood was made to burn, took a while to get the five bonfires moving but achieved in the end. Norman's leaf blower made good bellows for the fires. Plenty of tidying achieved and Martin roped various large wood lengths into tied down clumps for our invertebrate friends.

Part of the large fallen tree at the northern apex was tackled. Also the overhanging trees at the Corhampton end of the bridge and the leaf collection on the bridge moved on. The back channel, near St Bonnet Drive, was not checked and still requires looking at.

A good attendance in all, regulars and some newcomers as well. Many asking if there will be another tidying session whilst the pond stays with out water.
