Sunday 16^th January - Water returns to the North Pond

The first water started to flow into the North Pond this week. By Friday 14^th the water level could be seen rising and by Sunday it had risen sufficiently that it had started to flow through into the South Pond. It is good to see water back in the pond. There have been many favourable comments from local residents about the work that has been done and how nice it is to see the water back.

A watch will be kept on the sluice to ensure that it is kept clear in case anything gets washed down which could cause a blockage.
